BONDVILLE FAIR QUILT SHOW – 2011


The Bondville Fair is the oldest, continuously running fair in Vermont, located at the fairgrounds on Rt. 30 in Bondville, across from the Stratton access road. bondvillefair.org

Friday August 26th at Noon, to Sunday August 28th at 5:00 pm.

The Award Winning Quilt Show continues a long tradition of outstanding needlework exhibits at the Bondville Fair.  Quilt-making is an original American craft which has seen an enormous revival in this country in the last 25 years, and has spread abroad, especially to Japan and Europe. This year our show will be in the Elizabeth Crichton Crafts Hall for three days:


Entries must be brought to the Quilt Barn by 10:00 a.m. on Friday August 26 and picked up by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, the 28th, but not before 4:00 p.m. Quilts may also be brought to Barn on Thursday, the 25th from 4:00 - 8:00pm.

on the lawn of the Museum (rain- in the lobby)
No admission fee to the Bee
                       
Come be apart of a Tasha tradition,
gather under a canopy, in a circle of friends,
bring your wheels and spindles,
share in the stories and traditions of the handcrafted life of Tasha Tudor, depart with warm memories and a bag of fibers

                   
 Limited to the first 15 spinners to arrive or, as space opens throughout the day.

Directions:  From I-91 North or South take Exit 2.  Drive west on Route 9/Western Avenue for 1.1 miles until you see the sign for the Jeremiah Beal House on the left hand side.  It is one of only two brick buildings in the area.  The Baptist Church is the other and it is across the street.  If you see the 7-11, you've just passed the Museum.
